Message	and about 30 min from dulles straight down route 7. I'm currently registered in Loudoun, and about 10 min from the clarke county line. From DMV website: Vehicles garaged in the counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, and Stafford and the cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas, and Manassas Park must be inspected by a certified emissions inspection station before your vehicle registration can be renewed. Inspections are valid for two years. Once your vehicle is inspected, your DMV record is updated by the emissions station.
